Our FAQs

Below are set of common questions asked by our Sheepers lovers….

Website / Order Help

Please check your spam first, but if you still can’t see it there:

  • Log into your account if you created one when ordering, if you can see your order and if it says “Processing” it means we have received your order and payment and are currently working on shipping it.
    • If you don’t see your order, please contact us at help@sheepers.co.uk
  • If you received a receipt from PayPal or Stripe with an order number, you can also use our order track tool to see the status of your order.

When we receive your return we add your exchange to our ordering system so it follows into the queue. It will then be posted. You may not receive a email confirmation on shipment.

Unfortunately not, we have now moved all stock to a fulfilment warehouse, and due to health and safety reasons, visitors are not permitted.

You must follow our returns process which can be found here.

We re-stock every few weeks. As everything is hand made we it all takes time so that is why sometimes some styles are out longer then others. Please do sign up  to our mailing list on the home page for frequent stock notification emails, or alternatively you can sign up on the products page to receive an email as soon as they are re-stocked.

Our slippers are handmade in Poland.

If we do not have the time you have requested in stock, our team will contact you to let you know. If you placed an order using a discount code and you do not want a refund, we can place your order on backorder until the item comes in stock or alternatively we can issue a credit note.

For more information on our returns procedure please click here

We are unable to process any cancellations for orders that have a marked status of “picked”. This is due to disrupting the warehouse team from shipping orders. Once an order has been picked it is ready to be dispatched, therefore we are unable to cancel any orders at this point in the packaging process.

Unfortunately, as we are now based in a warehouse where there are various shipping stages we will not be able to combine any orders.

General Questions

Our sheepskin is a by-product of the meat industry. For the farmer, approximately 90% of the value of a sheep is derived from selling the meat and less than 10% is derived from the sheepskin itself, our suppliers are regulated and ensure the raw materials are sourced in an ethical manner.  Sheepers believes mulesing is cruel and inhumane.

Genuine sheepskin is 100% biodegradable, so when it does get thrown away, it doesn’t lie in a landfill for hundreds of years like a product made from synthetic material.

Our sheepskin comes from Spain, our Gorale then hand make the slippers in Poland.

All our products are packaged in an eco bags with our branding, they are made from PP non woven fabric (spunbond). However, if purchasing gift wrap some products will be packaged in magnetic fast ribboned boxes. Please read the product description.

We then use polythene envelopes. We are working on the sustainability of our packaging and hope to change this soon too!

The best way to contact us is via email: help@sheepers.co.uk and someone will get back to you within 24 hours-48 hours.

Please note our working hours are Monday – Friday, therefore any queries sent in over the weekend will be dealt with on the following Monday.

Some of our Sheepers have markings on the sole as it is where we mould the leather so the machinery can create a marking, this creates a  beautiful craftsmanship feel from their handmade nature.

Yes, the slipper and the interior wool is both made of real sheepskin.

No, we have only one store which is sheepers.co.uk, we are the original Sheepers and are aware of companies who are imitating us. We are also on other market places such as notonthehighstreet.com, Etsy.com, the stylist and  joules.com.

Once we process your return, your refund will process within a maximum of 5 working days and the funds will return to the original payment method used.

Unfortunately, we do not provide free returns. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your purchased item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.  If you receive a refund and paid for express or standard shipping, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Sale items are non refundable or exchangeable. All sales are final.

Sizing & Fit

This is a tricky one as they do stretch with wear. So a pair that initially feels snug has to be worn in. Certain styles are more suitable for wide feet, for more information please email us at help@sheepers.co.uk for recommendations.

We suggest ordering true to size on all slippers.

Yes at first Sheepers slippers may feel uncomfortable or small due to the suede,  however our Sheepers become very soft with wear and mould to your foot in a few days of wear.

The woollen interior is made of the softest sheepskin,  a leather trim, a waxed cotton embroidery and the sole is made of the highest quality suede leather.

We use our materials sustainably so we use off cuts to create some of our designs such as the Sen Range and the Elsa Sheepers. Sometimes we cannot get the tan suede upper so we use an alternative colour such as grey/light cream/white to create our beautiful slippers.

We advise to order true to size, however Sheepers slippers will mould and loosen and soften with wear as natural leather and sheepskin do so, so a pair that feels snug or tight initially, will loosen and become comfortable over time. If you are a half size (e.g. 5.5) please do size down.

Product Care

We do not advise you machine wash any of our slippers as they are handmade. We advise our slippers are spot cleaned only with a damp cloth.

We advise not to wear our slippers outdoors. The slippers are handmade and should not be worn outside.

Washing instructions can be found on the label sewn inside our Pyjamas.

Please follow these instructions, if you require further help please email us at help@sheepers.co.uk

The soles are made from leather please note they have the sizes written in biro.
