If ever there was a time to start blogging again and reconnect with the valued supporters, customers and friends of my small independent business, it’s now… Amidst all this fear and isolation, distancing and home-working (for some), I’ve been busy with colleagues preparing to launch a brand-new website too, so it seems just the right moment to do both – reconnect and relaunch.
The blogs might have a different flavour given the situation we find ourselves in, but I’ll still be able to touch base with you and give you a heads up on all things Sheepers. It’s very much ‘business as usual’ at Sheepers HQ. We are working hard to process orders as fast as we can and get our products out to you, but there may be some delays due to the postal services, which is very much out of our hands, but to be wholly expected.
I know businesses across the world are concerned about their staff, keeping them safe and protecting them, and yet keeping things going too, saving jobs and the economy as a whole as far as possible, and I want to reassure you too that here at Sheepers, we’re doing the same.
Agnieszka is flying solo processing orders from a self-contained studio – her only contact is with those living in her household. Items are collected from the studio by the postal/courier service, so there’s no need for trips to a post office or depot. And production hasn’t slowed either – our Górale, the Polish highlanders are still hard at work (in their homes) sewing Sheepers in readiness for the winter season. And I’m at home with my partner and baby Jess plotting and planning, organising and arranging to ensure Sheepers survives well into 2020 and beyond.
And while I’m talking about survival and moving forward… I have some exciting product news… If you’ve been waiting to move away from the more traditional sheepskin colours and take a brighter and bolder step, then look no further than our latest range – Poppy (fuchsia), Sherbert (apple green) and Cybil (aqua blue) . And with hand-dyed merino wool, especially created for us, these colourful, limited edition slippers make an ideal gift to brighten even the darkest days. And boy do we need some colour on days like these. But don’t forget, we advise buying one size smaller than you (or your loved one) usually take, as the 100% sheepskin loosens over time.
Just one last message from me, if you haven’t already, why not stay in touch on a more regular basis and sign up to receive our e-news.
You won’t miss out on our special offers ever again!
Until next time, stay safe and well.
