Following the UK leaving the European Union via Brexit, many businesses faced a difficult decision regarding international shipping, and at Sheepers, this was no different. UK-based businesses had to either choose to close off from trading in the EU, or increase delivery costs, due to the various price increases associated with shipping to Europe. The good news is, we are now able to offer our customers in the EU a flat shipping rate of just 4 EURO. Read on to find out more… 

Sheepers in Poland… 

We have always had a large international customer base, as well as local, and Brexit made it difficult for us to be able to continue to ship to the EU at a fair price. For this reason, we are excited to announce that we now have an EU base in Poland Gdańsk.  

Our new EU base means that we can offer cheaper postage charges to our EU customers of just 4 EURO. In addition, our EU customers won’t have to pay any import duties on their orders either, due to the fact that we are now able to ship from within the EU.

Cinderella in Gdańsk… 

While we were in Poland, we celebrated our visit and the opening of our new EU base by giving away free Sheepers slippers to ‘Cinderella’. We explored the streets of Gdańsk and approached various people to see if ‘the shoe fits’, offering them a free pair of Sheepers if the fit was right.  

We met some amazing people and it was great to start to make connections in the beautiful city of Gdańsk, as we begin our new journey here. We are excited for this next chapter for Sheepers. We are committed to ensuring we provide a high quality product and service to all of our customers, no matter where they are based. This meant that providing cheaper and fairly priced shipping to our EU customers was important to us, and so opening a EU base just made sense.
