We never bulk buy our materials. Two pairs of Rose gold Sheepers where the leather upper is darker and the other is lighter to show that we use off cuts to be sustainable.
All our packaging is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. Genuine sheepskin is 100% biodegradable, so when it does get thrown away, it doesn’t lie in a landfill for hundreds of years like a product made from synthetic material.
Our sheepskin originates from Spain and is a by-product of the meat industry. For the farmer, approximately 90% of the value of a sheep is derived from selling the meat and less than 10% is derived from the sheepskin itself, our suppliers are regulated and ensure the raw materials are sourced in an ethical manner.- It is then brought into Poland for colder climates to re use them, they are 100%
